Versioning and Releases?

This project is going fairly well, and working fairly consistently... I was wondering if it was appropriate to suggest if it might be time to see it on PyPI?

`Distutils` takes most of the work out of getting it packaged to be able to be installed via `pip`.

Of course, that'd mean making use of version numbers, and probably milestones to decide when a version is ready...

Start by reviewing the project's current packaging and release setup, then determine how PyPI, pip, Distutils, version numbers, and milestones would fit together. Done should mean that the project has an agreed versioning and release process and can be packaged for installation through pip.
