Inconsistent logic in path tool usage:
1. When using the Spline Tool, selecting points on a drawn line and adjusting the handles at both ends has no effect.
2. The Freehand Tool and Line Tool create empty layers with no content if you only click without dragging.
3. With the Pen Tool, clicking the left mouse button and moving the mouse, then right-clicking, deletes the path and clears the layer. With the Spline Tool, clicking the left mouse button and moving the mouse, then right-clicking, generates a path. This operation is inconsistent with the Pen Tool.
4. The Rectangle Tool, Ellipse Tool, and Shape Tool generate point shapes if you only click without moving the mouse, leading to many accidental operations.
5. When using the Rectangle Tool, Ellipse Tool, or Shape Tool, clicking and moving the mouse to draw, then pressing the Esc key or right-clicking, cancels the shape and clears the layer. However, when using the Shline Tool, clicking and moving the mouse, then pressing the Esc key or right-clicking, does not cancel the shape.
6. With the Shline Tool, clicking and holding the mouse button while moving the mouse does not draw a path; path drawing only begins after releasing the left button.

Other issues:
1. After adding a clipping layer to a photo, you cannot use the Select Tool to select shapes and other layers below the clipping layer. Even if you select the layers below, you still cannot use the Select Tool.
2. When creating a new canvas and importing an image, it is aligned to the center of the canvas by default. If you import an image without creating a new artboard, and then import another image, the latter imported image will not align with the center of the previously imported image, requiring manual adjustment.

No files, tests, or code entry points are identified. Reproduce the reported behavior across the Spline, Freehand, Line, Pen, Rectangle, Ellipse, Shape, Select, and import workflows, then determine a focused subset whose cancellation, empty-click, selection, or alignment behavior can be specified and verified.
