Feature request: add support for WMS and WMTS

### Description of the desired feature

This is a feature request to add support for plotting [WMS ](https://www.ogc.org/standard/wms/) and [WMTS ](https://www.ogc.org/standard/wmts/) map data, similar to the [already supported for XYZ tiles](https://www.pygmt.org/dev/api/generated/pygmt.Figure.tilemap.html).

Perhaps [OWSLib](https://owslib.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) could be used to enable this?

The GMT.jl Julia package [supports WMS](https://www.generic-mapping-tools.org/GMTjl_doc/examples/images/05_wms/index.html) as well.

### Are you willing to help implement and maintain this feature?

Maybe (skill and knowledge might be a limiting factor)
