"Upload file or folder"

That's the tooltip on the button, but I don't see how to select a folder to upload, instead of navigating into it. So, effectively, I can only upload a file, never a folder. I suspect this selection dialog is part of my desktop environment and outside of your control? Any suggestion, other than zipping a folder first and uploading a zip file?
