[BUG] MUSE stopping without error/warning message

## Describe the bug
Muse stops running long before completion without issuing a warning or error message.
## To Reproduce
Try running the model at [MUSE_UK/MUSE_input_files](https://github.com/EnergySystemsModellingLab/MUSE_UK/tree/55f59ba2e8cb4c26970a1774ceaedc65d975808f/MUSE_input_files).
## Expected behavior
Model stops during first timestep in `imports` sector at `Computing investment: scipy`.
## Context
- Operating system (eg. Windows 10): macOS 15.7.2
- MUSE version (eg. 1.0.1): 1.5.3
- Installation method (eg. pipx, pip, development mode): development mode
- Python version (you can get this running `python --version`): 3.9.18
