Move Analytics logic to API

Right now we have the analytics logic on the UI. In order to provide these metrics to users who only utilize the api, we should move this logic to the api and create a new analytics route.

Move the analytics logic to a new Api route.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First trace the existing analytics logic in the UI and the API structure, then determine which metrics the new analytics route must expose and verify that API-only users receive equivalent results.
