Populate new polls as they are posted

It would be a nice feature to automatically show new polls when they are posted. For organized events such as spring evals where many votes may be posted over a short time with quick expected turnarounds, seeing polls as they are posted would be a nice quality of life improvement. The current workaround is to continuously refresh the page when a vote is about to be posted.

The issue does not identify any files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating how polls are fetched and rendered, then determine how the page can receive newly posted polls without manual refresh; done means new polls appear automatically while the page is open, with coverage for the update behavior.
