🐞 Strange things happens if you open another file

### Description

I have noticed that when I open multiple files, the terminal gives weird output.

I haven't used the terminal in Code Editor or the main terminal for this repository before.

1. Open a folder in CE
2. Open a file
3. open another file
4. see terminal

It's important to note that this issue does not occur every time.

Start in CodeEdit's terminal after reproducing the listed folder and file-opening steps on the reported macOS and CodeEdit versions. Observe whether opening another file causes repeated or truncated terminal prompt output, and use the intermittent behavior to narrow the terminal entry point involved. Done means opening multiple files no longer produces the malformed repeated output.
