Error with 2FA QR-Code in PayPal

**Describe the bug:**
Had an issue in scanning a QR code on paypal. The code was not scanned successfully and there was a browser message with lots of the same, strange looking diagonal signs. With google authenticator on the smartphone I was able to scan the exact same code. I can not give you the QR code, but I attached the screenshot from the message.

**Platform:**
- Browser: Chrome
- Browser Version: 87.0.4280.88
