Use the same build.sh inside Docker and inside chroot

@TheAssassin, the introduction of Docker as an alternative to chroot also led to some (hopefully temporary) code duplication.
I think we had already agreed that we wanted to use the same `build.sh` inside Docker and inside chroot.
Is the only reason this is currently not being done that I don't want `bash` in the chroot?
