描述

It would be useful to have a standard, immediate method for checking if there's still a server connected to your RPC connection.

```python
def ping(self) -> bool:
...
```

There may be a standard zmq way to make this work, see these docs https://zguide.zeromq.org/docs/chapter4/#Heartbeating
