dataFormat adds <div> when dataFormat is used

Ellipsis disappears when dataFormat is used and I noticed

is added to the text when using the dataFormat. Is there way to remove this? or any other way to add ellipsis?

I'm just trying to show 'N/A' when description field is null, is there any other way to do this other then dataFormat? Thanks!

return row.description === null ? 'N/A' : row.description;
}
