The issue only references `auto-cpufreq --debug` as the intended diagnostic flow, but does not include a relevant failing debug section. Start by re-running `auto-cpufreq --debug` on the cited HP OMEN model and identify where battery-threshold-capable devices are detected in the code path. Then add the model support in that hardware-detection logic and re-run the same command to confirm the OMEN machine now appears as supported for charging thresholds.
