We rely on the following pattern throughout the codebase.

return DoThings(null);
}
public Things DoThings(ThingsOptions options)

options = options ?? new ThingsOptions();

}
Let's change this to the following one
public Things DoThings()
{
return DoThings(new ThingsOptions());
}
public Things DoThings(ThingsOptions options)
{
Ensure.ArgumentNotNull(options);
[...]
}
