Describe the bug
When attempting to merge all cells in a table within the editor library, an unexpected extra column appears instead of creating a single merged cell.

To Reproduce
Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a table with multiple rows and columns in the editor

2. Select all cells in the table

3. Use the "Merge Cells" function

4. Observe the result

Expected Behavior:
All selected cells should merge into one single cell spanning the entire table area.

Actual Behavior:
Instead of a single merged cell, the table gains an extra column and cells are not properly merged.
