[Bug]: Conversation not compacting

首先从桌面 GUI 跟踪 /compact 命令，并检查会话压缩和令牌计数路径。使用 GUI 版本 0.1.35 在 Linux 上重现该问题，然后验证 /compact 会缩短会话，并报告节省的令牌数而不是零。

- run /compact
Expected behavior
It should compact the conversation in order to save tokens
Actual behavior
It isn't compacting the conversation and prints "Compacted to n messages to n+1 messages, saved 0 tokens" just like the attached screenshot
