Description
Allowing for annotation processors in the vendordep JSON in addition to normal Java dependencies would make it easier to install/update libraries that rely on them. Currently, the best solution is to include the annotation processor manually in build.gradle, which isn't kept up to date with the rest of the vendordep.

Research direction
Start by tracing how GradleRIO reads vendordep JSON and turns normal Java dependencies into Gradle configuration. Compare that flow with the manual annotation-processor entry currently required in build.gradle. Done means vendordep JSON can declare annotation processors and their versions stay synchronized with the rest of the vendordep dependencies.
