Start by reproducing the broken image in Gmail in a browser and the iOS Gmail app, using the linked image location and the attached screenshot as references. Compare results across recipients and image conditions, then document a confirmed cause and a testable experiment; the issue does not name project files or tests.

I've observed that GMail is refusing to show the images on my nightly emails, both in the browser and in the iOS GMail app.

I'd like to know if this is happening for other people, and then run an experiment to see if we can figure out what it is they don't like about the images.

Here's what a broken image looks like in Safari on my iPad, and this is the location of the actual image.
