Start with the uploaded webbrowser.py.patch and issue6671.diff, then inspect the current webbrowser library entry point and the historical discussion. Reproduce the XFCE default-browser behavior and determine whether the existing patch still applies. Done means webbrowser respects the XFCE default browser without regressing other supported platforms.
