Start in Prediction.Views.cs at ListViewMaxHeight and the nearby HistoryMaxCount constant. Trace how PSReadLine variables are exposed and how the command completion list reads these values. Done means both limits can be changed through the $PSReadLine UI without breaking completion behavior.
