Description

I'd like to be able to mark a release as a "pre-release" and have stackablectl only show released things by default with an optional flag that also shows prerelease releases :)

First steps

  1. Read the whole issue, then the project's contributing guide.
  2. Comment on the issue to say you are picking it up — it saves two people doing the same work.
  3. Fork the repository and make your change on a branch.
  4. Open a pull request that references the issue number.

Research direction

Start by locating the release-listing entry point in stackablectl and trace how release status is represented and displayed. The work is done when released items remain visible by default and an optional CLI flag also includes pre-release items; add or update coverage if the surrounding code provides tests.
