Description
A friend of mine told me about the package xarray (website) which is a wrapper around numpy arrays for more usable processing of multi-dimensional data. Similar to pandas but with a focus on scientific data.
If someone has experience with this package, I would appreciate if they would give a short presentation about the possibilities and advantages of this package.

Research direction
Start by reading the xarray website linked in the issue to understand its possibilities and advantages for multidimensional data. Done would be a short presentation about xarray, but the issue does not name presentation materials, an entry point, or a specific scope.
