Description
Profiling examples use linux tools perf and google orbit.
Would be nice to use a (easily installable) cross-platform profiler so that participants can do the same on their computers.
Maybe vTune?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the profiling examples that currently use Linux perf and Google Orbit. Compare an easily installable cross-platform alternative such as vTune, then determine how the examples would use it across supported computers. Done means participants can follow the examples with the selected profiler instead of the existing Linux-specific tools.
