Cannot install a version of tensorflow that allows me to use GPU

Start by reproducing the reported RStudio commands: tensorflow::tf_config(), reticulate::import("tensorflow"), tf$config$list_physical_devices("GPU"), and reticulate::py_last_error() in the shown Apple M1 environment. Compare the TensorFlow, reticulate, Python, R, and macOS versions from the report. Done means TensorFlow imports without the circular-import error and the expected GPU availability is reported.

Working on a Apple M1 Pro mac in RStudio. I can install everything fine but they tensorflow can't find any local GPUs so the models take a long time to fit.

For example,
