Description
Is there any method to stop/cancel a running job scheduled by jobRunScript? I know jobRemove can remove jobs from the task list, but the process is not terminated even removed.
I wrote a script that process a large data, and opens the folder once finished. I thought jobRemove could terminate the process, but after grabbing a cup of coffee, 100 folders were opened (XP
I feel like people might be confused about why we need to hide a job that is still running. I understand there must be reasons, but it simply sounds suspicious. I can imagine someone shares a piece of R code that runs a rstudio job, uses rstudio as a "shell" to camouflage itself, but hide in the background keeping sending sensitive information to the internet. Lots of amateur R learners simply run the code online without checking what's inside.
