add source jars for local jar dependencies when using gradle

We have some local dependencies like:

dependencies {
    api fileTree(dir: 'lib', include: '*.jar')
}

but there is no way to add the source jars which are in another directory.

Also, you cannot use 'Attach Source...' for some reason when gradle is being used?

How can we get vscode to find the related source jars for the included libs (everything compiles and runs fine)?
