APIs for querying source tree for inheritance or implementation of interface X.

Hi, I'm developing an extension and looking to include the feature of:

• scan all .java files in the project folder and return back the filenames of all internal classes that either implement interface X OR descent from a class implementing interface X.

Are there APIs or functionalities included in vscode-java that could accomplish this task? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
