Integrating with Other Libraries chosen example does not work with create-react-app

Any attempts to add jQuery and chosen plugin to app created with the create-react-app failed with different errors related to the either jQuery or chosen being undefined.

codepan example is nice but it does not mean the real app works. It would be good to back docs with github examples rather then just with codepan.
