Description
I cannot view the docs on an older iPhone 6 or iPad Air using iOS 12. The reactjs.org site itself. The page displays for a split second, then throws the error "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)"
This occurs on the Safari browser as well as on the Chrome browser.

Research direction
Start by reproducing the React documentation site on iOS 12.5.6 in Safari and Chrome, then inspect the browser console for the reported client-side exception. Done means the documentation pages render without the exception on the affected iPhone 6 or iPad Air.
