On this page https://github.com/reactjs/reactjs.org/blob/master/content/docs/refs-and-the-dom.md in section "When to Use Refs " there is mentioned that you can "pass an isOpen prop to it". There is no example how to do that. How to pass prop through a ref.
Maybe it's something as simple as ref.current.propName = value. I don't know.
There is just one question for this on stack overflow, with no answer.
