Description

Problem

All react-navigation SVGs are not optimized properly. And they have big file size of around 33 KB which is because these SVGs has many control points.

Solution

This problem can be solve if we can reprocess the icon with curves rather than one-by-one control points.

Research direction

Start with static/img/spiro.svg, static/img/spiro_header.svg, and static/img/spiro_white.svg and compare their current file sizes and rendered appearance. Reprocess the three assets so their curves use fewer control points and verify that the SVGs remain visually equivalent while reducing their size.
