Description

I have a 3D MR series with 160 dicom files. x, y, z dims for the series are (160, 256, 256). If I've followed the code properly, i think it assumes that image series files are acquired in z direction, is that a correct?

Research direction

Start by tracing the library's handling of the reported 3D DICOM series dimensions and image orientation for sagittal MR scans. Compare that behavior with the stated (160, 256, 256) series and determine whether the orientation assumption is incorrect; done should include a confirmed answer and a reproducible test or clarified handling for sagittal series.
