Description

I have a scatter plot with multiple traces and a shape. The shape is defined as a dashed vertical line but for certain plot dimensions the line appears solid.

Here is a very basic example: https://codepen.io/bioc-pedevilh/pen/emOqWbZ

Research direction

Start with the linked CodePen reproduction and vary the plot dimensions to identify when the dashed vertical shape becomes solid. Trace the shape rendering path in plotly.js and compare the generated line styling across those dimensions. Done means the shape remains visibly dashed for the reported plot sizes without regressing other shape rendering.
