Description

As originally posted by @bulam in https://github.com/plotly/plotly.js/pull/3732#issuecomment-482911658 , itemsizing = 'constant' doesn't seem to work in a 3D scatter plot. The legend item circles are still smaller.

I'm facing the same issue.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the referenced pull request 3732 and locating the 3D scatter plot legend sizing entry point. Reproduce the issue with itemsizing = 'constant', then add or update a regression test showing that the legend item circles remain constant-sized and verify the existing 3D scatter tests pass.
