Warning message when creating a grouped boxplot

When I run the example code for a grouped box plot on the plotly documentation I get a the following warning:

The code is on the documentation website but reproduced here as a reprex:

I can see that this issue was discussed some years ago but despite the issue being closed it still seems to be a problem.

Reproduziere das Beispiel für gruppierte Boxplots aus der Plotly-R-Dokumentation mithilfe des bereitgestellten reprex und bestätige die Warnung. Lies die Diskussion in Issue #994 auf relevanten Kontext und verfolge anschließend die Verarbeitung des Layouts von R nach plotly. Abgeschlossen ist die Aufgabe, wenn das Beispiel gruppierte Boxplots ohne die ungültige boxmode-Warnung rendert.
