Description

Description

There's no method to close/end curl_share_init_persistent(), which means DNS expiration has to be awaited and all open connections are retried (and closed) unnecessarily even when one already knows (and could directly close them) - the only fix is to restart php-fpm?

Research direction

Start by tracing curl_share_init_persistent() through PHP's curl extension and reviewing the existing share-handle lifecycle APIs. Check how persistent DNS and connections are managed, then identify the appropriate tests for explicitly ending the persistent share. Done means callers can close it without restarting php-fpm or waiting for DNS expiration.
