描述
The next minor release (5.6) would still support java 17. But after plan to increase the baseline version to java 21.
We already start getting issues bumping some dependencies like spotless, we also want to officially support virtual threads in that release, it would help with that too.
We currently assess that 5.7 will won't come earlier than December this year.
