Description

I've started using rbmi::simulated_data() and I find the documentation of the statistical details quite limited. There are some explanations in the Advanced Functionality vignette and also in the documentation for rbmi::simulated_data(). However, it would be great to have details on the specific formulas that are implemented.

Research direction

Start with the Advanced Functionality vignette and the documentation for rbmi::simulated_data(), which are the entry points mentioned in the issue. Identify the formulas implemented by simulated_data() and document those statistical details in the relevant documentation; done means users can understand the specific formulas from the package documentation.
