Research direction
Start at components/git/land.js around the LandingSession construction shown in the stack trace, then reproduce the command with an unknown remote. Trace how the failed git config lookup becomes the displayed error and define a clearer message for that case. Verify the behavior with the repository's existing test commands; no test file is named in the issue.
