Account deletion error with invalid WebID

I just tried removing an account for someone that wanted his account deleted using the delete request form: https://solid.community/account/delete (also occurs on https://inrupt.net/account/delete)

However, when submitting the form, I get the following error (changed the name for privacy reasons):
Error: Error: NamedNode IRI "https://rubentaelman.inrupt.net/Ruben Taelman" must not contain unencoded spaces.

I'm not sure what causes this error. But I think the user may have entered an invalid WebID URI during registration. If that is true, then validation should actually also happen during registration, but more importantly, the deletion request should not fail with such an invalid URI.
