Research direction

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. Start by locating the surface-mesh edge flip implementation and reviewing how existing geometry algorithms are structured. A maintainer would need to clarify the gift-wrapping algorithm, API, and acceptance criteria before work can begin.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

enhancement

Would there be any interest extending the edge flip method to provide a gift wrappers algorithm over surfaces? There don't appear to be any implementations online I can find - would throw in a vote for it being a neat feature to have :)

Can possibly submit a PR at a later date myself if it's of interest!
