Description

This is solely a meta issue to be able to outline the future plans for regulatory aspects / guidelines and documentation for inclusion to the main nf-core webpage. The plan is to split these individual aspects into smaller chunks, build on top of documentation and tooling that is existing and provide a central location on where to find relevant information within nf-core for nf-core pipelines.

In scope:

  • Metrics to support trust in pipeline design, outputs and decisions for each nf-core pipeline
  • Updates on the tooling that we plan to provide on the topic
  • Steps for specific purposes, e.g. pharma companies have slightly different needs than a diagnostics provider, clinician, ... --> "What do I have to do on top of the report that nf-core provides for each pipeline release?"

Out of scope:

  • Computer systems validation / technical validation of infrastructure used to run nf-core pipelines --> This is specific to each institution.
