Research direction

Start by examining MuseScore's export menu and the existing workflow for rendering individual tracks. Research how Audacity projects represent separate tracks and empty sections, then define the integration scope and compatibility requirements before implementation; done means a MuseScore export can produce a usable, clean Audacity project.

Description

Your idea

I just made a song in MuseScore. I imported it into Audacity to add various effects and vocals, when I realised: it would be awesome to be able to import a song directly from MuseScore into Audacity. I would put the instruments in different tracks, etc...
I do not think that this feature has been requested yet and I think it would be interesting.

Problem to be solved

Instead of having to manually export every track on MuseScore, import them all one by one into Audacity and cut each track's empty parts, the user could use an option in MuseScore's export menu that would do all of that. I would render the tracks individually, put them in an Audacity project, remove the empty parts, and give the user a neat, clean Audacity project.
