Your WSLg version: 1.0.19

Steps to reproduce

1 install KDE to Debian

# Install kde-desktop
sudo tasksel install desktop kde-desktop
# all the required laptop tools if host is a laptop
sudo tasksel install laptop

2 Reboot

At a powershell prompt:

wsl --shutdown

3 Start Kmail

At Start menu click on Debian Folder,
click on Kmail application

Expected behavior

Kmail should start correctly likewise when launched from KDE as follows:

type startkde at Debian prompt
From KDE start menu, click on Kmail
