Behaviour

Code executed in python debug console does not trigger breakpoints

Steps to reproduce:

  1. main.py
import time



def hello():
    print("hello, world")


if __name__ == "__main__":
    hello()
    while True:
        time.sleep(1)

  1. Set breakpoint on print("hello, world")

  2. launch.json
