The C++ extension doesn't seem to work. The two things I note are:

Format document doesn't work and the status bar says Extension C++ cannot format
Code folding used to be smart and didn't just fold all indented areas but matched braces. This is not working now.

Things I've tried:

Re-installing cpp extension/ downgrading to last known good version.
Downgrading vscode to last minor version.
Setting "C_Cpp.loggingLevel": "Debug". Despite this, the output tab does not show anything for C++ extension.

Earlier today I got a notification that the extension server crashed but after restarting, it seemed to work fine. All other extensions are working as intended. Only C++ extension stopped working after that.

Riprodurre il problema in VS Code con C_Cpp.intelliSenseEngine impostato su "Disabled", verificando la formattazione dei documenti e il code folding con gestione delle parentesi graffe.
