Descrizione
The upcoming mssql-django 2.0 release will let you run the Django ORM directly on mssql-python.
mssql-django is the official SQL Server backend for Django. It is the backend that connects your apps to SQL Server, and starting with 2.0 it can run on mssql-python alongside pyodbc, selectable per connection.
mssql-python will be opt-in for the 2.0 release, with pyodbc remaining the default, so existing projects keep working exactly as they do today and you adopt it when you are ready.
Using the mssql-python path needs Python 3.10 or newer, and since mssql-python bundles ODBC Driver 18, there is no separate ODBC install to manage.
