I'm not sure which one of us is the owner, but it is not me.
For long term health of the project I think that the owner on pypi should be the matplotlib organization as is the case for the main matplotlib project:

- Schreib ins Issue, dass du es übernimmst — das erspart doppelte Arbeit.
- Forke das Repository und arbeite in einem Branch.
- Öffne einen Pull Request, der die Issue-Nummer nennt.
Rechercherichtung
Beginne auf der ipympl-Projektseite auf PyPI und vergleiche die dort aufgeführten Maintainer mit dem matplotlib-Projekt. Bestätige, welches PyPI-Konto oder welche Organisation das Paket besitzen sollte und welcher Zugriff erforderlich ist; abgeschlossen ist die Aufgabe, wenn die matplotlib-Organisation als Eigentümer aufgeführt ist, ohne die bestehenden Maintainer zu beeinträchtigen.
