Unable to access ipympl from JupyterLab due to Error displaying widget: model not found

Describe the issue

I am running an example code to access ipympl from Jupyter Lab on GCP/Linux.

Reproduce el ejemplo reportado que comienza con %matplotlib widget en JupyterLab 3.6.3, utilizando las versiones indicadas de ipympl, ipywidgets y los paquetes de Jupyter. Comprueba primero la integración de widgets de JupyterLab y las extensiones habilitadas jupyter-matplotlib y @jupyter-widgets/jupyterlab-manager. Se considera completado cuando el gráfico de seno se renderiza como un widget interactivo sin el error “model not found”.
