Stuck on Need a faster logging experience when using serverless-stack with serverless-esbuild

After running serverless deploy, the lambda is indeed deployed to LocalStack but the process is still running and stuck on:

Start with the serverless.yml reproduction and run serverless deploy using the listed serverless-esbuild and serverless-localstack plugins. Trace why deployment reaches LocalStack but the process remains at the displayed logging message; done means the deployment completes and the command exits normally.
